I'm loving the space. I haven't hardly been able to do any of my crafts in the past three years since I've been living in apartments. My stuff has been packed up, so I'm really psyched about my space now!
How far is Grand Rapids from Deer Born Heights? I have family there and Playmouth I think. I so would love to come visit..but don't put it passed me. I flew accross the country to visit an LJ friend and I am making plans to meet 3 more!
I would love to have a craft room..or even just the time to have it perfectly organized the way you do!
I had an LJ friend of 6 years that became my best friend. Last March she drove here from Pennsylvania to spend a week with me. It was awesome! Unfortunately she died in a car crash two weeks later. :( I feel so lucky I got to finally meet her though.
I've met a couple other people on LJ, but in this area. A friend of mine and I are trying to plan a trip sometime to Florida to see one of our LJ friends (my friend has already met her once). I wish I had more money, there are so many people I'd like to meet!
Hehe, I'm psyched to finally have this space. A few months ago it was me drooling over pictures like these for the past three years while Ive been living in an apartment.
Where did you keep all the stuff before you got the house!?
I would love to have that much space. I have a craft corner but its int he same space as the kids toys so I have to keep everything up and out of the way unless I'm working on something... maybe some day :)
In boxes in a closet basically. I had no room for anything, or to do anything. It sucked. :( For the past 3 years we've lived in apartments and I haven't really been able to do anything. Before that when I lived with my dad I had a huge room, with a desk, a table and chair set, and all kinds of things so my crafts were always all over. It was a big change for me moving into a small apartment, and with a baby and husband who didn't want my stuff all over no less. Each year we moved into a bigger apartment, and we still didn't have enough room for me to do anything. So I'm SO thankful for this room, and that Paul agreed to let me have the majority of it for my craft space.
