okay im worried now, i did it..and gave them my SS and everything..and then it said "sorry we cant help you" at the end...umm i gave them my social

That's really weird. Have you or someone else in your house signed up for it before? I know a lot of people who use it, and no one's ever had a problem.

After your comment I went to read the terms and services and it says you just have to pass the identity verification. Maybe it didn't recognize your SS# or something. It says you have to be a valid tax payer.

That's weird. I wouldn't worry though. It's a very legit site. They just use your SS to verify you. I wonder if maybe your birthdate was marked wrong and didn't match your SS or something.

They're accredited with the better business bureau, so it's safe to give them that kind of info. I'd guess there was a server/technical problem or something of that nature.

Your info is also protected by digicert inc, an internet security company(much like the verisign inc on paypal).
