There's a talk in PLT, tues week 10, at 1pm about the Coca Cola company. They want to break the £5.8 million contract the Union has with them, and help bring them to justice.

Anyone interested?

bring them to justice? what have they done apart from being an evil behemoth of a company? :S

I don't know huge amounts about it, but it's stuff like the go to countries where clean water is scarce and get the cheap labourers from there. And then for every bottle of coke they make, it takes something like 3 times that volume in water to produce it. Basically, depriving people of the clean water they need so much.

Or so I've heard. That's also why I wanna go - to find out more about it, and to help with it.
