That whole thumb-pad thing use to drive me crazy. So I went and got one of those USB mice (i think I got mine for $15), and whenever I type I just turn off the touch pad.

No I didn't hear of it, but it would seem logical based on what I've seen.

That said, they seem to be pretty good mothers - it's not like school gets in the way of parenting, or anything. :)
