Henry/Donghae, Kyuhyun/Sungmin, Kangin/Eeteuk
PG-13, Comedy-Romance
★ Everybody talks about it. Everybody wants to be able to do it. Henry is curious.
It was a normal night in Super Junior's dorm. The members were all in the living room, talking about this and that, not caring if their conversations made any sense. Some of them had made themselves drinks with random juices they had found in the fridge.
Henry was drinking a raspberry and cranberry mixed juice. He actually quite liked the taste, especially the cherries that were hanging on the edge of the glass. The glass was looking good and he didn't want to ruin the presentation at first, but he gave in when he smelled the nice scent that was coming from the red liquid.
Some of the other members had put alcohol in their drinks and the more they were drinking the less they made sense.
"Hey! Did anyone ever tried to make a knot with a cherry stem?" Heechul asked all of a sudden.
Everyone threw him a weird look and the room was suddenly silent. Heechul was smiling mischievously, as he did most of the time, waiting for some kind of answer to his question.
"Why?" Kangin finally asked after some seconds of silence.
"You never tried?" Heechul said, surprised to see that out of the 15 persons in the room, only him had tried.
"Well, it's pretty easy, you just take it like that and..." Leeteuk said and made a nice knot in the stem of the cherry he was holding.
"No! Not like that! You have to do it with your mouth!" Heechul said as he put a cherry stem in his mouth and made weird faces to try and tie it up. He took it out when he was done and showed the knot happily.
"See?! It seems easy, but it takes a lot of practice!" Then Heechul laughed, as if he just told a joke nobody understood.
Everyone gave him a look that was obviously saying 'you're crazy', but soon found themselves trying to make a knot in the cherry stems they had with their drinks.
Henry chuckled at their weird faces and then exchanged a funny look with Donghae who was sitting beside him on the floor and was also laughing.
"Really...What is this all about?" Henry asked, still chuckling.
"Hm?" Donghae looked at Henry and the younger boy could see that he also had a cherry stem in his mouth and that he was trying to succeed into making a knot.
Henry chuckled at his hyung and looked around to see everyone looking like idiots trying to do something they obviously couldn't.
Heechul was walking around the room telling people stuff Henry couldn't hear well, but he didn't care anyway, so he just shrugged and continued to drink his juice.
He was thinking about something else, lost in his mind, when he heard Leeteuk screaming as he had just won the lottery.
"I did it!" He cheered, bringing the knot above his head and cheering.
"Of course you did...you had some practice, right?" Heechul said as a matter of fact.
Now what Henry was finding strange was not the fact that Heechul had once again a mischievous and scary smile plastered on his lips -that was actually pretty normal- it was the way Leeteuk fell back in the couch, flushing red while Kangin also looked uncomfortable and that was confusing Henry since he didn't know what was the link between Kangin and a knot in a cherry stem.
After that, everyone seemed a lot more serious about being able to tie a cherry stem up with his tongue and teeth. Kibum gave up eventually, saying that it was a stupid thing to do. Not long after,Yesung gave up too seeing that he wouldn't be able to do it anyway.
Sungmin suddenly got up and cheered, looking at Kyuhyun proudly. He showed the knot to everyone in the room and grinned before going back beside Kyuhyun and pecking him on the cheek.
"It's no fair! Sungmin had more practice too!" Euhyuk yelled.
"Yeah! Unlike him, I don't do that everyday!" Shindong said and threw the cherry tail in his plate, giving up completely.
Henry was wondering why everyone was so strange suddenly, making a knot in a cherry stem was something so insignifiant in his eyes. However, he was curious at why everyone was so determined to do it.
Before they all went to bed, some of them had succeeded, while some others didn't. Those who didn't were leaving the room frustrated. Henry waited until everyone was out before picking up a cherry stem he had previously put beside his glass.
He stared at it for a while, before looking around to make sure nobody could see him. Then he put the stem in his mouth. He tried to whirl around his tongue and tie it up.
He succeeded without much effort, wondering why everyone had made such a big deal over it. As he got the knot out of his mouth, Donghae entered the room, wondering why there was still someone in the dark room.
"Henry? What are you doing here?" He asked, and then saw the tied cherry stem in his dongsaeng's hand. "Woah! You did it?! You really did?!"
He came closer and took the knot out of Henry's hand, not caring if it were full of saliva.
"What's so great about it, it was easy and it's not pretty to look at," Henry stated.
Donghae looked at him and smiled.
"You do know what it is supposed to mean, right?"
"No, no I don't"
Donghae chuckled at the innocent younger boy in front of him. Henry was blushing, unaware of why his hyung was laughing at him like that.
"It means that you're a great kisser," Donghae said and patted his head softly.
Henry just stood there and remembered the others' expression when they succeded and Heechul was teasing them. So that's what Heechul meant by having more practice...
"So...where did you get your practice?" Donghae asked, half-joking, half-serious.
"What?! No! I never...uh..." Henry said, waving his hands around and blushing furiously.
"So you're a natural! Yaah~ You're lucky..."
Henry blushed and rubbed his lips with his hand as if he was trying to be modest and not show that he was somehow proud.
"Aww~ you're so cute! Come here!" Donghae said and pulled Henry into a hug.
The younger boy jumped and realised that his face was burried into Donghae's shirt. He wanted to get away, but nobody could break from Donghae's hugs...because they were so...comfortable...
"Do you mind if I try something out?" Donghae asked softly.
"What is it?" Henry asked innocently.
Everybody in the world would have known what Donghae's something was, because it was so obvious. But Henry, being the dense person he was didn't get it. He just stood there waiting to see what Donghae was going to 'try out'.
Donghae smiled and tilted his head to the side as his face was coming closer to Henry's. The younger boy was surprised to feel his hyung's lips over his. His eyes widened and he didn't know what to do. Donghae was soon gently pushing his tongue into Henry's mouth, trying to wake him up from his trance.
Henry walked backward slowly, as if it would make Donghae let go of him, but soon he felt a wall behind him. Donghae was enjoying the kiss, he was just kissing him with everything he got. He didn't think that Henry might be scared or confused by his sudden behavior.
Then, Henry realised that the situation might not be so bad. He slowly started to try and respond to the kiss. Even though he was unsure and nervous, he wanted to make Donghae feel that he wasn't doing something bad.
Henry suddenly remembered the knot in the cherry stem, if only he could do the same thing now, maybe Donghae would know that he could kiss back better than anyone else! Even though that was kind of his first kiss...
When Donghae pulled away -much to Henry's discontentment- they stared at each other for a while.
"Wow, that cherry stem thing seems to be the truth," Donghae said, before Henry blushed and move his head up for another kiss.
He could feel Donghae's smile on his lips and he started chuckling because of it. Henry pulled away and looked up at his hyung with a sweet smile.
"Then why can't you do it?" Henry laughed.
Donghae smirked mischievously. "I must be much better at some other things,"
Henry blushed at Donghae's innuendo.
"Shall we test it?" The older boy said still smirking.
Henry shook is head from left to right vigourously, scared that Donghae was crazy enough to force him into doing that kind of things...
"I think I'll stick with the cherry stem...for now,"
