Changsun had this strange habit to isolate himself when he wasn't feeling good. He never liked when cameras caught his moments of weakness or when the other members worried about him. Even if he had to show emotions from time to time, he usually waited to find a place he could be alone before he let them all out.
That was probably why he was sitting on the last step of their apartment building's emergency stairs, his elbows rested on his knees and his head hanging low between his arms. Alone in the white room linking the stairs to the emergency door, he was staring down to the floor. Tears were tickling his eyes, but he strangely didn't feel the need to cry.
So many things were floating around his head; it scared him a little. School was stressful, their schedule was busy and his personal relationships were messed up lately. Changsun just didn't know if the twirling sensation he felt whenever he'd try to find a solution to all of his problems would eventually lead to something else than confusion.
Most of the time, he was able to push everything aside and enjoy his life to the fullest. But on rainy days where their schedules allowed them free time, he would start thinking about bad things like every other person of his age. It was often the result of accumulated fatigue and it would (ironically) prevent him from sleeping soundly.
It was about 8pm, they had finished their last activity over an hour earlier. Changsun had not felt particularly happy throughout the whole day, but he managed to cover it up with a smile or a silly comment and even a charismatic pose every now and then.
However, now that he was alone with his thoughts, Changsun didn't bother to look alright. His dull eyes were fixated on the cold floor that could not return his gaze. He sighed repeatedly as if it would make things easier to handle.
As he rubbed his eyes as well as his whole face with the palm of his hands, he heard the echoes of a distant door opening up. Footsteps were slowly going down the stairs. It made Changsun straighten up lightly, by reflex.
The only person he had met here before was a janitor cleaning the whole area. The nice guy had accepted his presence and didn't even ask why he had reddened eyes and tears running down his cheeks. He had simply continued his task while occasionally giving him honest smiles.
Changsun relaxed slightly when someone stopped behind him, ready to turn and look up at the old man's warm eyes.
"Hyung!"
The slightly high-pitched voice could only belong to one person. Changsun breathed in sharply, hoping Cheolyong wouldn't press the issue.
"Joonie-hyung, Leader-ssi told me to find you and bring you back. Cheondong-hyung wants to watch a movie."
Changsun nodded. He refused to talk, afraid that it would worry the younger man. He heard Cheolyong bounce closer to him. His body emanated some kind of warmth that was typical of him, something both comforting and unnerving.
When Changsun turned around (after making sure no tears could fall down), his eyes landed on Cheolyong's sweet smile. They looked at each other, and Cheolyong brought his hand up to pat Changsun's head comfortingly. It felt more like soft hits than a comforting caress, but it made the older boy light-headed.
"There, there."
Cheolyong kept the caring smile on his lips. Changsun was hypnotized by the way his younger band mate's eyes shone with insouciance. Maybe it was in his personality to be carefree or maybe it was his unconsciousness that made him oblivious to all the problems surrounding them.
No matter what it was, it made Changsun at ease. He smiled up sadly at Cheolyong and accepted the other's presence as he swung his head around to stare at the floor again.
"I guess no one will blame us if we ditch the romance movie. It sounded so mushy anyway!"
Cheolyong came to sit beside his friend, pulling an electronic device out of his pocket. He disentangled the wire from around it and pushed an earphone into Changsun's ear before he plugged the other in his own.
Changsun grinned when music flooded his mind and Cheolyong started to do weird miniaturized dance moves. He had an obsession of dancing to Muzik by 4minutes ever since they had performed it. Changsun had quickly become sick of the song after listening to it for three weeks straight, but Cheolyong just couldn't get enough.
He squirmed on his seat and moved his hands up in the air.
Changsun was always impressed by the amount of energy the smaller boy could contain. He never looked as tired as Seungho in the mornings or as bored as Byunghee when they had to wait for more than a few hours in a dressing room. And even if Changsun had a lot of energy at his disposition, it was nothing compared to Cheolyong.
"Sing with me Hyung!" Cheolyong said as he stared to scream an English song the older man didn't know. He was more blurting out some sounds than singing the actual lyrics, but Changsun didn't tease him about it.
He tried to dance to the rhythm, already feeling a whole lot better than when Cheolyong had found him. His body mimicked the younger man, girly moves after girly moves. He was getting into it, laughing as he let his arms do weird movements that had nothing to do with the original choreography of the song.
Cheolyong giggled at his Hyung's energetic dance and whispered: "I'm glad you feel better," He leaned in and the younger man's lip pressed swiftly against the skin halfway between Chagsun's mouth and his cheek; a region of the body with no name.
Changsun froze in his position, one hand above his head and the other lingering somewhere on his thigh. His mouth was open slightly, looking completely shocked. But the other man was smiling as sweetly as he always did.
The music was still blasting into their ears, but Changsun choose to ignore it and concentrate on what was going on. During his daze, Cheolyong got his cellphone out of his pocket and read something on the small screen. The eldest of the two could barely understand the situation, and didn't have the time to think that he was already pulled up to his feet. His legs felt oddly numb and wobbly.
"Cheondongie-hyung is sad that we're not there for the movie. Seungho will apparently kill me if we don't go up, like now." Cheolyong explained as he laughed and rolled the wire of his earphones around his ipod.
The earphone slipped out of Changsun's ear. Suddenly, the silence of the staircase struck him; it was almost unbearable.
"Don't be silly," Changsun snorted as tried to sound like his usual self. "I wouldn't let that guy touch you!" He punched Cheolyong's arm playfully and they started to climb up the stairs as laughter echoed on the walls surrounding them.
While they walked down the hallway leading to their dorm's front door, Changsun couldn't get his eyes away from Cheolyong's lips. They seemed to shine for him; tempting him to try and taste them. Luckily, Lee Changsun, Lee Joon, had some self-control.
However, he did wonder if next time, Cheolyong would aim his lips instead of an unclear region of his cheek.

Hope you liked it!
@.@ I wrote 3 fics with the same prompt and I choose one of the three; so this one. I'm so sorry
