Amish isn't for me.
Perhaps a few of you might have noticed my absence from the online world yesterday. Well I tell you, lightning struck my street at 6pm and shook power right out of my street. yea, in buffalo, new york, there was this intense rain storm. A tops (local food place) was on fire and around my part of the town ther were litterely rivers. I was driving home with my parents from dinner and we had to turn around twice because my mom's jaguar couldn't have gone through all of the water. There were also a bajillion cars stuck and our basement got flooded =[. we only lost power twice though for just an hour each.

there was a big storm here too.. well kind of. we got warnings. the funny thing is that, my neighborhood inparticular didn't experience anythign but dark skies as opposed to down a couple off blocks anf beyond where their houses were flooded and trees falling on cars. i sense an episode of the twilight zone.

but i know what you mean. i remember during the black out a litte over a year ago. i was bored shitless.

i was wondering where you were yesterday.

blackouts are common in thailand because we always have thunderstorms there, and they suck. there was never any escaping from them except sitting in the humidity and complaining. something about our powerlines being above ground rather than below.

Pennsylvania's heat and humidity suck so bad. So does the fact that now basically the entire state of pennsylvania is having tornado warnings.
