LJ icon folks like people to say which one they will be using, instead of just "taking". It's kinda of giving someone something and then scolding them for not saying thank you and being ungrateful slime. (Hey I blog here but I never said I understood it...)
And yes more than one person can take an icon, just leave comment saying you are taking #whatever. That's all you "need" to do - then just right click it to download and then upload it to your userpics.
I seem to recall seeing tehm say things that seemed goofy to me..maybe this was one. And thank you for telling me how to do this..I am fond of teh mahna-mahna..8-) And thak you Griz! thank you!
