gay marriage: I tihnk its a good idea. Let people who are actually going to stay together and love eachother go ahead and have the right to. The sacredness of marriage argument is already shot considering the 50% divorce rate.
drugs/alcohol: i think both are really destructive. i have drank, but im not proud of that because I know it can be just as addictive if not more than most drugs. but ive never tried any drugs. the idea of them has always tugged at me at times in my life when i dont have other sources for happiness. but i always have in mind the bad things they bring, and thats when I choose to not use them. i wish they didn't exist sometimes, and then I think of how different our world would be. better? maybe, maybe not.
abortion: i waver on this issue. I think it is a horrible thing and I hope I would never have to personally consider it. However, I do think if I was raped, it would be nice to have the option to not carry the aby, and I would have to lvie with that fact haunting me forever. I don't like the idea of it, but I aso dont liw the idea of a child growing up in a bad situation sorrounded by unsupportive parents. However, there's always the option of adoption if the mother can't keep the baby.
