I watch a lot of movies, inhaling them, staying up late, plugged into my laptop. Like I used to, with books. And most of them are rather forgettable. Except once in a while, there's one that's just...amazing. Shelter is this lovely movie that takes place in California, has all these shots of surfing and waves and people who seem solid and real ( Read more... )

I watched part of the trailer and stopped because I didn't want to be spoiled. This looks good! Do you have a link where I could watch it online right now? I'm home sick and this looks like the right medicine.

Have you seen the movie No Night Is Too Long? Gay thriller mystery. The whole thing is on Youtube in 11 parts. It's not a heartwarming love story, more like obsession-driven angst, but has pretty boys and is very well done. Here's link to first part:

Love is true and possible for everyone. And I also believe there are multiple soulmates for each one of us - fuck that one person bullshit! Be open!

Yeah, I've watched it. It's up in full on google video. I love it, even read the book afterwards.

Give me a few hours and I'll upload the movie for you. Do you know how to join split files with hjsplit, or a program like that?

Thank you! I really appreciate it and hope it isn't too big of a pain in the ass for you.

Yes, I've used HJ split before with mixed results. It joined the flick and I watched it upside down and in 'mirror reverse' font - it was subtitled. I got good at reading the subtitles this way. I think it was due to the way I got the files and not to the actual program itself. Or maybe user error!

I looked, but it's kind of obscure.

I just caught the trailer for this and it was filmed near my old school. I assume that the setting is in San Pedro since you can see the bridge. Other than that, can't wait to give this movie a shot!
