They're putting an Alamo Drafthouse in the Lakecreek shopping center. I'm pretty excited. Maybe I'll try to work there. I really need a real job, though.

Today begins day 5 of being home alone. My mom's in Oregon visiting my dad and I'm stuck here in charge of my little brother. He's hardly ever home so I mostly have the house to myself. I just got the internet fixed, I think. The DSL had been sucking for a long time. The SBC people talked for me for like 30 minutes.

I finally have a computer in my own room. It's my computer and i bought it with my own money. I still have trouble with internet access sometimes--we only have one DSL line and two computers. I don't have hours alone with a computer anymore so it's hard to get a chance to update. My dad's in town for the holidays and people are always on the computer. And I have usually have nothing to say. Like now, for instance.

I forgot to take defensive driving and today's my last day to complete the course. I'm about an hour into the online course, but I have to be at work in 4 hours and I have 5 left online. This sucks.
