Aww, thank you! I figure no one who's still a Jeff/Annie shipper is particularly interested in perma-sunshine or smooth roads -- know your audience, right? ;-)

So very insane, haha. I tried to draw a little inspiration from the first documentary episode. Thanks for reading!

LOVE IT.

Jeff's anxiety and lingering insecurity was so in character. He would totally be freaking out over asking Annie to marry him, even if it was pretty clear that she would say yes. The unresolved issue of Annie's tryst with Troy, and her lack of disclosure on the subject would definitely up the tension for Jeff in that situation.

Jeff thought from her narrowed eyes for the next couple of hours that she probably thought he had porn hidden in there. As if he wasn't clever enough to keep it in a password-protected, well-camouflaged folder on his laptop

AHAHAHAHAHA.

I love the detail of his opening and closing the ring box in agitation. And two carats is a nice size. Not too big, and not too small. Though really, Jeff, couldn't you have sprung for platinum on your lawyer's salary? ;-)

watching Annie sulk about Britta's superior wedding planning skillsHaha. You know, I totally expected that Annie would react this way in the episode, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her not get overly competitive and be sincere in ( ... )

I just wanted to come out of lurkdom and say how much I appreciate that you updated this story. I'm relatively new to this show and this fandom, but I think I've been doing a bang-up job of catching up (if I say so myself). Part of which involves going on an insane marathon of reading J/A fanfiction. And I have to say that yours is one of my favorites ( ... )

Wow, thank you so much. I'm actually a little jealous about your J/A fic marathon. Not that I haven't done it myself, haha, but there's nothing quite like having a huge quantity of well-written fic you've never read before, and there's definitely a lot of quality stuff waiting for you. And I'm super-flattered you count mine among it, especially enough to de-lurk! It's always an added bonus to get a comment from a newer reader since I started this story last summer, and it's good to know I have some fresher pairs of eyes for whom the story still works as a whole.

And thank YOU again!

You're very welcome! And yes, I did so enjoy my marathon. I used to be an avid fanfiction reader, but I lost my passion for it for my other shows. Then I got into this show, and I thought I'd check it out after seeing some recommendations on Tumblr. And from there, it was like an addiction.

I have to say that that the Community (specifically, Jeff/Annie since that's the only ones I've read) fanfiction authors have some of the highest calibre of writing. Especially since you're dealing with a show that is so witty. And I'm constantly amazed by people's abilities to capture the tone of this show and its characters. It also helps that most of the fanfiction I've read are well-written in the basic, grammatical sense, which is a quality I value (almost above the actual plot sometimes).

Anyways, there I go rambling again. And yes! It more than works. In fact, I loved yours so much that I forced my friend, who I got addicted to Community to read yours. And she agrees that this series is absolutely wonderful.

So, thank you! :)

YESSSSS! I was so excited to see that you updated this fic! It's still one of my absolute favorites. I really liked how the Annie/Jeff/Troy triangle all came to a head in this chapter. I also really liked how we got a glimpse of what happened right before Chapter 2 when the story began. The way you play with time is one of my favorite things about this story. I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Thank you so much! I actually had a timeline totally laid out for myself back when I was updating more regularly and I lost it when I had to get a new laptop, haha, so I was second-guessing myself all over the place when writing this since it's been so long since I updated. Maybe when I'm done I'll rewrite it and post it with the last chapter!
