I think you have good points. I (and not just me, but all of us who received criticism, which I think is most people who posted it) should take this post as a learning experience. But I don't think that anyone has been arguing/dismissing/blowing off the criticism they received - I for one have accepted all of it, and I think the others have as well. I think many people, however, are simply really curious to know who it was who is angry/disgusted/offended at/by them.

That was a lot of slashes.

In the...punctuational sense of the word.

I'm not going to say anything anonymously. First, I want to reply to Vikram's comment here. It is only a learning experience if you believe the stuff that they say. If you see merit in the commentary, no matter how harsh it was, then good for you, I wish you luck in trying to change. But what people say on those things aren't necessarily truth. And, to comment on this post altogether, I did comment on every "criticism" written. At first I thought it was criticism, but the more I read them, they weren't. I have said this many times before, criticism is said face to face, at least when it comes to matters of personality and human interaction. The way some things were written were malicious, and I realized that after taking them into consideration. I was defending myself as ( ... )

As for the last paragraph, I'm really not asking for absolution; I included the first bit simply so that you all would know that I have some experience. Thank you for the thought, though ( ... )

I <3 you. I actually don't feel bad at all about the general perception of my high school self, but it still feels nice to be loved (and flattered).

More later...am in training now.
