I am really sorry for being so distant for a while... I've been in my room just kind of thinking about things. Had to stop drawing for a while because now my walls are completely covered... no more room for the pictures. I've started piling them up in large folders I found in the desk in here. Hey Helena--how're you doing? You okay? I'm sorry I've been kind of reclusive too. I blame February--it's kind of a blah, cold and dreary month, isn't it?

And--I feel it too. I think it's partly that so many people keep disappearing all the time.

Yes. Well... I'm not sure anymore how I feel about all this. I want to be home with my Mum and Dad and Valentine... and the circus, but I know that I would miss all of my friends here, too.

[Another softer sigh as if she's decided something]. "How are you...?

Listen, I'm not going to pretend like last month never happened, but I also don't want it to come between us. Especially during these insecure times of uncertainty and "impending somethings". Know what I mean?

"I'm not quite sure how to take that. This is coming from the man who nearly cut up my face without a moments hesitation... And I'm still fuzzy on the afterwards part but...

[Another very strained, thoughtful pause].

"Although, you didn't take advantage of my unconsciousness did you? No fun when the victim is unconscious, hmmm? ...And for whatever reason, as dark as I'm sure it is, thank you for -not- taking advantage..."

[Some shuffling papers and the sound of Helena's feet kind of pacing].
