Yeaaaah. In 35 hours I could beat Modern Warfare about four times. Bear in mind I only say four times, because I'm counting all the difficulty settings, and the hardest difficulty is pretty freaking hard. You could probably beat it about sixteen times on the easiest setting. Plus? It "gets interesting" from the ZERO minute mark.

I think I should add that it's a totally different experience playing on each difficulty setting, so it's not as if you're not getting your game's worth. (Plus there's online multiplayer and a cooperative campaign in the sequel which I neglected to mention)

Hence, hearing that it takes 35 hours for a game to get interesting makes me rage for all my wasted time.

Fer sures. It's a shame there's very little in (j)rpgs that achieve any kind of replay/play value, other than forcing the player through a meaningless tube of time wasting tasks or map roaming.

Then again, I say this as I replay FF8 like some sort of crazy person. I blame craving an open world map. :/

Thanks, L :). I got FFXIII for my birthday, so I'm determined to finish it even if I might cause pain to myself :/. If I still hate it, I'm gonna trade it in for another game that might not suck as bad xD;

Awwww, I don't know about that xD. I just wish I knew what size I would be. I have to do some research. Funny thing is, James' ex (who is from Australia) works at Seafolly Swimwear. She could tell me what size I would wear since she buys American clothes all the time. James and I joked about asking her, but yeah....awkward! xD. I guess I'll have to do some research with measurements and all that.

I had to drop FFXIII, which I suppose is somewhat premature because I actually never made it to Pulse and therefore never got out of the linearity bit, but I just. CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE omg. I don't love the characters/story enough to keep trudging through it. :\ I did really like Vanille, though. I kind of want to still give it another try.

I was forcing myself up to this point. I'm determined to finish the game and give my official opinion later, but what I doubt is going to change: The game is very poorly paced in terms of story. If this 30+ hour intro was cut in half, it would be a much better game. I'm starting to like Vanille a bit more now. I just hope the game continues on it's upward swing.
