As if I needed further evidence of my lack of girlhood-the Gender Genie thinks I write like a man! At least when I’m blogging.

Although my fiction is evidently feminine.

My nonfiction is overwhelmingly masculine.

Weird, huh? One wonders what this says about me. Especially since the Genie claims to get it right 80 percent of the time!

Crazy and random poetry definitely counts as writing. Sounds like you've been busy! I wish I could get into organizing mode. Currently I'm in folding-laundry mode.

Identical results for me.

Nonfiction demands masculine style though.

I'm surprised that I blog like a guy, though. My fic is poetic so I get that it's feminine but I guess my blog style is active-voiced, present tense, to the pt?

I should try other entries when I'm not depressed. I'm more succinct when I'm depressed. Ha, I think more masculine when depressed and wander about more when myself (more feminine).

I'm fairly bi though, in many regards so... I'm cool w/ these results.

We're identical! I'm honored.

I'm interested in this "nonfiction is masculine" notion. Sounds like a doctoral thesis for somebody...
