some time ago back before the time of Man, i bought this Dream Journal. it's becoming very helpful! lately i've been getting these... weird dreams.. reoccuring ones. they are somewhat bad dreams... i wouldn't call them nightmares, becuz they don't scare me and leave me feeling all breathless and sweaty when i wake up from them... although, since i'

Maybe the dream about the door to the basement signifies that you have passed through a phase in your life, which is now closed to you (no going back), yet you feel trepidation at the challenges (going through the fire) to get to your future (which is unclear to you at this point).

The best indication of what a dream means is what you think a dream means. After all, it is your subconscious mind just trying to tell you something.

As for you attracting evil, try a sage cleansing and not dwelling on it. You attract what you put out, and morbid curiosity with "evil" may be just bringing more of it to you.

Congrats on the dancework (I think--you don't sound too enthusiastic about it), and good luck with getting out of AE.
