I wouldn't even care if it wasn't a give and take conversation, I don't really need to unload my shit on them. They're just a friend of a friend who met me through a video game and randomly felt like unloading their shit on me. It was really annoying.

unfortunately this situation isn't all that uncommon. It really sucks though because the person doesn't realize how self centred they're being most of the time.
