I found really interesting all the possible outcomes, all the alternate universes you've managed to create with few words.

In some lives, Derek is too late. He misses Stiles by winks and heartbeats. His days routinely lack bad jokes and unprecedented loyalty. Those are the worst lives. That line was especially heart-breaking.
