Ok, this is going to be interesting… I haven’t written on LJ for almost forever. Back a year ago I never thought I’d join the ranks of people who dropped off the face of LJ, and now here I am never writing. I guess when no one is on LJ to comment and talk too then there is very little motivation to put time into writing something long and time ( Read more... )

First off, I'm glad you're more content, even if you don't have a lot of excitement, so to speak. And I think it's great that you're in a singing group--it's a huge blessing for older folks in nursing homes to have people take an interest in them, and I'm sure they'll enjoy the singing!

And, wow, that course sounds like a good opportunity! Not terribly expensive, really, and I like the idea of going for a short time and getting a lot done with credit hours and all! (I'm not sure I could work that way, but I think you'd be good at it.) Plus it's good that it is just for the subjects you want. I hope it works out for you! I'll be praying. :)

Plus, of course, the songs you sing for people could be a great witness.

What kind of music classes would it be? Composing, singing, piano? All of the above? :)

Yah, it's pretty fun to sing in a group, but it's very different than singing by yourself. :) Much more room for mistakes. I think the main song we're singing is either folk song or Hymns. Fun!

Yah, it's not really that expensive, I just wish I had more money. lol. I think it will probably be pretty hard, but I think I'd really like doing it. And I'm pretty sure it's all of the above. There a voice class, and a music instrument class, and more. :) It should be pretty amazing, and it will probably really help, especially with my teaching piano and stuff. :)

Yes. Singing by yourself is much more difficult--but fun, too.

Cool! Sounds like something I'd like, too. But I'm poor, too, even though I'm earning a little bit through teaching art, now. It seems to get "eaten up" quickly. :\ I've been buying stuff for camping, though, as we're going soon (just for a few days).

Yah, It is really exciting. I REALLY REALLY hoping that I'll be able to go. :p

God certainly made me want to be a busy person. :) But I really DO have to be content because the reason I'm not really doing the things I'd like to do is because my parents don't want me too. :) (Oh course there are other reasons, too.)

Anyway, I guess I'll just have to do what you say and find a balance.:)

Great to hear from you Harmony! It's nice to hear about your life! :) I hope you get to go to the school, I'm sure it would be good for you to do! I'm sure it's fun having a niece now too!

Yah, hopefully I'm back for good. :) I re-realized that I really enjoy blogging, so hopefully I can keep it up better than I have in the past. :P

I hope I get to go, too. :)

It has been a blast having a baby niece. first time I've really spent a LOT of time with a newborn. I've learned some new things since she been around. :)
