Yes! Man I am sorry I have so many fandoms you don't know. :( But there are at least a few mutual ones coming up, so, you'll have that to look forward to. c: Also that quote is probably my favorite in the entire show. I probably shouldn't have knocked the writing so badly; for all that it could get clunky, there were some pretty snappy lines in there. Also it is my fondest hope that everyone who reads this post will come away shipping Danny/Val. c:
Hahaha, I remember this fandom. I did most of the little fic-writing I did for this series.
I think it was a combination of Nick's squeemishness and Butch Hartman's religiousness that led to the notable absence of the words "death" and "possess" on this show? Also part of the reason the third season sucked so bad was because Butch kicked off the writer responsible for most of the relatively good writing on the show - I think they got in a spat or something? It was a long time ago.
And Danny/Valerie was always my otp too. Danny/Sam was just so...boring and lacking in chemistry of any kind?
Oh dang, it seems like you have the same approach to fic dabbling as I do. Can I ask what your fics were about? :O
Yeah, that would make sense, with the religious thing. That's probably why he hates slash too come to think of it. :|a And I didn't know that about the writer. That explains a lot and is dumb.
Aw yes more shippers of best pairing! ♥ You are so right about Danny/Sam. I just. No.
Well, I've got links to them all here: http://whatpipeswhy.livejournal.com/1443.html . Mostly I wrote about characters who only appeared in one episode, like the Dairy King or Vlad's maddie-holograms.
Yep. Not sure what such a guy is doing in the first place, making shows about magic and ghosts, but whatever. The writer's name was Steve Marmel. He's actually responsible for a lot of Vlad's backstory and characterization in seasons 1 and 2, which is why the old fruit loop's personality went so especially awry in season three.
It was just so boring and obvious. And it seems like the more that they pushed the romance angle, the less likable either of them became, just for the sake of petty romantic conflict. Ugh ugh ugh.
Ahhh dude your fics are so good! I love it when people expand minor characters like that. Now I feel bad for comparing your fic approach to mine because mine is much less good. @_@
I would respond to your other paragraphs but it would all be agreement. So I am just going to agree with you here. c: you are cool
