Another year full of ups and downs... But this year, clearly most ups :) A lot of good things have happened, the year started with Ole Martin and I becoming a couple. As a couple, the last half year has been a bit strange as we don’t see each other as much as we wish we did, but things are still going great :)
From January til May I took Chemistry and Biology at a private school in Oslo, and I can honestly admit that I’m glad that time is over. I think that’s one of the main reasons I decided to study psychology for a year in tr.heim, to get away from subjects like that. I’m still not sure what I’ll be doing next year, as I now want to study both to become a vet and a psychologist.
Easter was spent in Trysild with my family as always, it’s such a nice tradition. Sadly Easter ent up as a tragedy for my boss. His son in law and grandchild both died in a car accident. Something that had a great impact on the whole clinic. It was such a sad time, and I wish nobody would have to go through anything like that…
But somehow, time went on and then came the summer vacation. I mostly spent my time working at the vets where I have worked for so many years now. I really enjoy working there and miss the place so much now that I don’t work there anymore. As well as that Ole Martin and I had a lot of week ends in both Bamble and at Hvaler and one week end we went to the zoo in Kristiansand with Elisabeth and Magnus, that was heaps nice :) We celebrated Elisabeth birthday with loads of chocolate and saw so many cute animals there.
At the end of the summer I moved up to Tr.heim, where I’ve lived for the last half year. I really love the place. I’ve gotten so many great friends and don’t regret moving up here for a second. My room mate, Anette, and I get along very well most of the time, and we do have a lot of fun together.
At the same time as I moved, Elisabeth moved to Japan. It’s strange that she lives so far away, I’m used to seeing her almost every day. But she’s having a great time, so I’m really happy for her. Can’t wait to see you when you get home :)
In October I started looking after my aunts dog, Tapper. And as things have gone as well as they have I think he’ll be staying with me.
Sadly, not everything has been this nice. Pia, Ole Martins dog had to be put down due to cancer early in December. Christmas wasn’t the same without her…
Now I’m home for the holiday, it’s been so nice seeing both family and friends again. I’ve spent my time doing everything I love. One day I went to a tapas restaurant with some friends and had a blast. I’ve spent a lot of time with Ole Martin as well as with other friends (and animal friends <3) I’ve spent quite some time with my family, and I’ve started to really enjoy Christmas traditions (I never thought I’d say that :P)
I hope all of you are having a great Christmas as well.
Take care :)
