In the laundry room: When someone of the opposite sex opens a dryer, pulls out a pair of underwear that had been left behind and asks you, "Ummm..is this yours?" and the answer just happens to be "yes."

The "of the loom" feeling is an interesting one. It's a bit like feeling forlorn, disconsolate, 55% cotton and 45% polyester.
