Oof. The last two/three paragraphs really just knocked the wind out of me (figuratively, of course). I noticed, though, the different style that you used here...and maybe it's because you actually used quotes this time (and I think I remember you saying that you hated using quotes). Also, I liked how you mentioned the Dumbledore this Dumbledore that and then Malfoy saying it himself, "I don't have it in me to kill." And while he says this, it's sort of like Granger isn't that important to him because he just can't kill anyone anyway. And showing his rash and impulsive side, not caring for(of?) the consequences whereas Granger knows/understands.

I just adore how versatile you are as an author, you can slip through different styles so fluidly.
