Finished: Waiting (K+) - Draco/Hermione

Aug 31, 2007 19:19

Notes: For Heleen derryere. The style goes back to my Vanity days; I thought it was quite fitting. And, admittedly, this was fun. I urge everyone to proceed with caution - silliness abound and all that.

Date: 31 August 2007
Author: vexia
Pairing(s): Draco/Hermione
Summary: Hermione Granger decided she rather fancied Draco Malfoy. Preferably dead.

It was completely unexpected. )

After writing this, I'm a bit reluctant to go back to present tense. This was much too fun; I don't think I could let it go! I am glad that you liked it, though. I thought it would be much more difficult, but it wasn't too bad.

And fun is what I wanted to hear, so thank you!

"Bloody hell, Granger! Can't I get more than a few words out before you -

"No! Shut up!"

"- interrupt me? Your manners are terrible! Kind of like Weasel -"

"I absolutely loathe you -

"- and the way he crams his mouth with all that food and -

"- and your stupid face -

"- chews with his mouth open, and what about my face?"

"- and equally stupid hair -

That whole bit right there was just amazing; very very Draco/Hermione. Doing what they do best: banter.

This whole piece was just lovely; I enjoyed it immensely. ♥

Haha, thank you!

Personally, I've always considered writing Draco/Hermione arguments very difficult. I typically rely on others to write that sort because it's much more entertaining reading it from other authors. To indicate that this was somewhat believable in characterisation - D/Hr fashion - means a lot.

Thanks!

You definitely got the perfect D/Hr bickering spot on. Trust me; it's practically the only thing I use when writing them together. It flowed perfectly, so I guess I'm saying, hun, that you nailed it! :D

And you're very welcome, and thank you for the fic! I loved every aspect of it. And I don't know about everything else, but I think the ending was fantastic. ♥

That is so cute hasjkdfh. The characterizations of both Draco and Hermione seem perfect. It's rather adorable hasjkdfhsdjfh. (I'm not very articulate when I'm excited or I have to praise so I usually let it out with keysmashes....)

Keysmashing is as wonderful as any comment I've received. So far I'm liking the response, especially since I was deathly afraid to post it. My third person writing was never quite as polished as others. :)

THAT'S IT???

#%*&@)_(@&$(*^%(*&!!!!!

No, really. That was *perfect*.

Except for the evil open ending. *glares*

You have to make a sequel. That was just too good to end like that...

I was astounded by the response, really. It's enough to make me consider a sequel, and I reckon I could give it a go eventually. It would be frightening, however, if it didn't live up to its expectations. Quite like a film sequel - it's usually never all that good!

Thank you for reading; I'm seriously considering that suggestion! :D

JAGHAJKGHSDJFHSDF!!!1 I love this. Write more! Write more. :D
No rly, I miss your posts. And not just the writing ones. :>

I love this. But I wished there was touching. MAYBE IN A DIFFERENT UNIVERSE. :O
But aw, this was lovely, lovely. :)

Oh, I want to! It was much more fun than I'd expected. Perhaps, in a sequel or something relative, there'll be some touching. Maybe it'll even be as decent as this one!
