entry is thought provoking for all the obvious reasons....

I have had at least 2 dreams in the last 3 years where I find myself with a child, usually an infant, that I have no recollection of concieving or birthing. In the dream I am always absolutely refusing responsibility for the child and feel kind of horrified and duped.

I mention this only because maybe it's some kind of common theme in a dream that can be interpreted as a larger symbol.

I'm not much into the "larger symbol", I really think symbols are a very personal thing. But perhaps symbols in a larger sense culturally? That I buy. But symbols like the kind you'll find in dream dictionaries? No way.
