Hi Nick! Long time. Thank you for your fandom of my coif. I encourage you to go for the dramatic hair crop. It may sound like a Penny Marshall film plot device, but it can inspire you to your very own real-life movie montage moment. You can juxtapose the scenes anyway you like...you on an exercise bike, you learning how to fly fish, you base jumping, you cooking a fancy meal and pouring a vintage wine, you getting a tailored suit fitted, you learning Hindi, etc. Do it! And send pictures.

It seems I already spend a lot of time on an exercise bike, cooking fancy meals [mmm... goat cheese...] and flyfishing... (not simultaneously) So all that's left is all this friggin' hair. I went to my salon the other day, showed her pics, and told her to do it. I stopped her at the last minute, I couldn't. How superficial must it make me that so much of my self-concept is tied up in dead cells.
I have precious little frame of hair reference for you and I think my monitor is insanely dark because all I see is general blur. So all I can say is I'm glad you like it!
Thanks! I lost about three inches of hair, which was pretty dramatic. I, too, have precious little frame of hair reference for you. Do you post family pictures on LJ?
I post Rosebud pics, but I rarely throw in any photos of myself. I'm not especially photogenic and I almost never like photos of myself, so I've got no motivation to do so. However, I might be persuaded . . . ;-}

have considered cutting my hair as well... my hair hasn't been above my collar since I was nine. It's a big step...
