Post your comments, thoughts, etc here about how you feel about the Salvage LM-11's and LM-17's issued by Square Enix today. I know what I did was wrong, but I think the punishment was too harsh..

Good to hear from you man! I can see where you're coming from, just a little more info from my side though! I had all that stuff in my bazaar yeah, but unfortunately/fortunately (lol, depending on how you look at it) we never sold anything or had any offers until.. 2 weeks ago, friend moved back to server and was looking for a few 25s we were capped on along with some Nyzul gear. As for Alexandrite, for the 2 weeks my group knew about it we didn't get any pouches from bosses or any extreme payouts of Alexandrite, usually 3-10 per run depending on zone & such.

I can't speak for the other groups as I dunno exactly how much they sold, how much they charged per piece, or how much Alex they got, but I can say that I never happened upon any more than maybe 150k worth of Alexandrite (selling at 3k each in bazaar or 1.5k to Jack) over those 2 weeks that Team Vice knew about it.

Squallz from Garuda here. I honestly think that a consequence should be dealt out for anything out of place, but consequences are weighted equally to the fault and this is what SE committed wrong in. True, a temporal suspension was to be expected, I mean, most people wouldn't joke about going at it twice after a temporal suspension, but a permanent ban from a social community/game? It's stupid, retarded and way over the limit on a glitch the company itself left out on the open, not something the player created like a bot or a hacking tool.

It's like having your music too loud at midnight and getting condemned to death row. I didn't get banned, nor did I get a suspension but it honestly affects everyone still playing since any future fault can be judged like this? I don't have any relic nor I'm the best geared wise player on the damn game, but even so...getting banned after all you've gone through on a /paid/ service, it's not fair.

Anyway, if anyone wanted to get rich from a lawsuit, you can have a shot at it. Peace and best of luck

Tbh I was expecting a 24hr/72hr/10 day ban but not a Perma once it was patched and SE said they were going over the logs.

Hey Vey, hope your holding up till SE comes to their twisted senses.

I can't say you don't deserve a punishment for cheating, and quite honestly you do.
However, it was a extremely bitch move for SE to wait over a year after the fact, to drop a banhammer out of the blue.

Seems like they did this soley to make a example, and honestly they were quite justified, but they could of done that with temp bans or a salvage gear stripga (fitting I'd think).

Thx T <3, seems like most people agree with you along the lines of "Temp banning/stripping the completed pieces from it" and I agree, I'd be much happier w/o the 1 35 I got, or even all of my Salvage gear and still have my Acct intact than being perma'd

Overall, I'm extremely glad SE took action. I am upset that some people are now gone for good. I don't know what methods SE used to decide who gets the banstick and who gets a slap on the wrist, but I do agree that if they couldn't keep it consistent then maybe the banstick should have either been left out completely or reserved for a very select few.

I'll miss you, you cheating bastard. :\ Even though we never really got to hang out or anything, you were always a blast to talk to.

I can't say I wasted the time I put into my Acct, I met a TON of people that will always have a special place somewhere for me and had a TON of fun with them!

Hey, I was just wondering if you've tried to log on so far or not, because it seems that everyone that's gotten perma-banned has no achievements on ffxiah anymore, yet you still do. So, it's possible you haven't lost your account yet :)

Yeah I've tried every day :( lol, I think it's because I haven't updated yet and I don't plan on it, I'd like to keep my stuff up there! I'll keep trying though!
