Anyone want to moderate?

It's clear that I can't really run this community anymore. I just haven't been doing much with it. So, does anyone want to take over as the mod? I'll still be around, I just won't be the active mod anymore. More than one mod is fine. I don't want this comm to die, so I'm asking for new mods.

I joined this community cause it was fun and exciting to see what other LJ'ers could come up. I already am a moderator on another community. I'll get back to you,

I think it's the fact that people are busy and are often in other, more specific icon contests, so this one ended up inactive. Plus, it didn't help that I became very slow in the upkeep of this place, so I figured that it was best to hand it over to someone else.

What???? (Looks around.....puts white cloves on and swipes the coffee table) I don't see no dust. But I'm pretty sure I know what your talking about. I've seen whole newsgroups go away just from lack of use. I think people are busy. I'll get back to you in a little while, I also, ( face turns red) am busy....

I'd be happy to help around for this community, but I don't exactly know what a mod does.
I haven't really been active in the past, but now that I'm starting to make icons again, I don't want this place to die.

A mod in this comm would be someone who announces the themes, puts the polls together, tallies the votes and announces the winners. It could also be someone who deals with the layouts.

I don't want it to die either. I haven't made any icons in awhile, but I still enjoy the icontests.

Hello there! :D Tis the_loved_one on a new journal.

I would've helped out a whole lot earlier, but school just completely held me down. But now it's summer break and I have a whole lot free time.

I really don't want to see this community die, and I'd be happy to be a co-mod here.

i've been very busy myself, or i would have been submitting more. but i hate to see icontests die, so i'm willing to volunteer as a mod. it looks like you have things covered, but it's so much easier to mod when you have multiple co-mods, so if you need my help, i'd be happy to offer it. ^^

school's killing me at the moment, and i've had to ask for co-mods in a few of my comms recently, too, but i'm still willing to help provided i wouldn't be the only person modding. ^^; i don't have the time to go week-for-week, but if there were a few of us on rotation, it wouldn't be a problem at all.
