Back from vacation

Florida was awesome! I had a wonderful and relaxing time overall. I did manage to pick up a cold from somebody, and we seem to have shared it around, but family gatherings and illness apparently go hand in hand these days.

Or they see themselves out of work instead (or as well) and have been asked to take time off or have decided to enjoy themsevles before the end. When my first job was self-destructing a lot of higher-ups were asked to use their vacation time before the end of the year. Either way it may indeed be a bad sign. Or perhaps it really is just the weather...?

It's cool that you have that other interview coming up, though! And your vacation sounds like it was a good time.
