A Scary Learning Experience.

Today I had the most scariest traveling experience of my life! I was wondering if other vi and blind people have had the same thing happen to them. I hate how people force themselves to try and help someone with a disablility even if they don't need it or the person can be too aggressive and forceful or even careless in the way they are helping ( Read more... )

I just wanted to agree with squonk; No one has a right to grab you or touch you in anyway with out your permission.

I also wanted to suggest a course though Hadley school for the blind. This course is called "Safe Without Sight" it is a self defense course for the blind and VI.

The courses though Hadley are free to anyone who is blind or legally blind (VI).

Also, check with your local YMCA, YWCA, or any local martial arts school for an instructor trained to teach VI individuals.
