Hi my name is Emily. I am 20 years-old and 4,11. I was born 5 months premature and weighed the same as a pound of butter. I was on heavy oxygen for the first year of my life. My situation is very similar to yours. I was born premature and the oxygen damaged my retina. My sight is probably also similar to yours. I don't wear glasses because they don't really help. I started using a white cane about a year ago.
