I think I'm gonna miss my car. After 5 years of having her around she was a bit like family. It was strange ripping the car stereo and stuff out yesterday when I sold the remains. Aaaarg, gotta convince myself it was just a machine, no soul haha ^^

Yeah, I said to Barb on Sunday Morning, a new car is obtainable, a new Sybille isn't!!

At least you're OK. I recall a friend of mine doing something similar, taking his car off the motorway, in mid air, over the fence, and rolled end over end. Luckily he was driving a BMW!! He escaped with a broken tooth (he over-clenched his teeth) and a cut finger.

However, he had a ski-ing accident a month later and broke his leg in 6 places. So I guess he wasn't so lucky!!

Whew I'm glad my stunt was as bad as your friend's. I wasn't flying around, just spinning ;) But the overclenching happens, I did it with my right hand.
But sounds like I should be really careful with snowboarding next winter ;)

Simon had a further problem. After the accident, and the resulting titanium rod being inserted in his leg, he had to go home and face his fiancee. He was due to get married 6 weeks later, and she wasn't happy..... xxxxx

And I got me a new ride already ;) It's kinda old and less power than my old car, but the mileage is okay and it looks okay ... so ... ^^

Erm, not driving fast is like 120-140 km/h (75-85 mph). Normally I was driving around 210 km/h (130 mph) at that point ... so it's definitely not fast :D

I don't like nicknames, but had to have something. I used to like repairing guitaramps, put new tubes in them etc, but now there is hardly a guitarist around me anymore who plays a real amp.
