I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you have a 1.3 Ghz Celeron processer and a laptop there's no way in hell you'll ever be able to run Oblivion on it.

Looking at the system requirements, I don't think you could run it on a laptop period, even a brand new one.

For sure it would eat my laptop and desktop at the same time.

The problem with PC gaming is that if you want to play top of the line games you have to have a top of the line computer.

Which I really really really need to get one.

You can't upgrade the processor in a laptop so you'll have to eventually buy a gaming computer if you want to play Oblivion. Or you could go buy an XBox360. That'd be cheaper, but the games aren't as cool and you can't do your homework on it.
