I just read an article about Charles Babbage, an early father of computing, and how a former curator at a museum recently built Babbage's greatest design; one that he himself never saw come to fruition due to lack of funding, and the shear "craziness" of his ideas at the time (Victorian England). interesting you wrote this. Just this morning, on the radio, they were talking about this issue....where a lady called in to complain about the amount of money some neighbor spent on lights whereas it could have gone towards helping feed some sick kid.

Anyway, I kinda agree.

No really though, the thing that bugs me the most is that this guy is probably a self-righteous asshole who made that post from his iPhone.
