I hate going to aftershow parties and admitting that I'm just a mate of someone who knows someone; makes me feel like a ligger or something although I guess technically I was. I was at the Arcade Fire show after party and being quizzed by someone who when I fired back replied they were the keyboard tech. But for the first time It was no problem

Awesome live band and amazing first album. Didn't catch them when they played Nottingham the other day though, apparently someone lobbed a bottle at them and they vowed never to play here again. So no rock 'n' roll points.

I hate Arena gigs, but I'm making an exception for Smashing Pumpkins who are playing down the road in February. You going to the London show?

Haha I got booed at Nottingham once too so I share their feelings.
I haven't got Pumpkins tickets yet, if I do go it may be more to do with the fact I want to check out the O2. I've grown to like Zeitgeist quite a bit but it all feels like a con especially after attending their farewell show. I'll see if someone twists my arm....
