In case this trip wasn't going well enough already, I finished 4th out of 1495 players in the GP. $1500 and 6 pro points. A very good showing, but also pretty disappointing. I made a mistake in the last game of my last round that cost me the game. I'm pretty sure I would have won the tournament otherwise. I need to start following strict rules

Really basic. Now that I look at it after sleep it was definitely a matter of fatigue. I was playing against a deck with 8 two mana counters and on my turn 3 I played Jace into his open mana. He countered and played his own Jace. If I just wait two turns I can at least play it with counter backup or after a Thoughtseize.
