Sucks being stuck somewhere for a week. I heard Rome is nice, though.

Yeah, go see your friend and get some rest and eat fresh food. Italy's really nice. I've never been to Turin, but all the little cities I've been to, like Ravenna and Perugia, Padua, are wonderful. Siena and Florence would be on your way to Turin, which is practically in France. I think getting out of Rome would be good.

I had a guy try to pick my pocket in Amsterdam (he failed) and Jon was swindled out of several hundred dollars in Turkey - you'll have to ask him about it if you come in for Passover.
