It seems kind of fitting that this be my first offical journal entry seeing as I didn't become involved with Live Journal at all until I became involved with RENT. Today marks the 10th Anniversary of the sudden and tragic death of Jonathan Larson from complications from Marfan Syndrome. I know I will be taking time today to think about him and ( Read more... )

Congratulations on your landing into Livejournal! :)

I never got a chance to tell you - the Rent clip that you sent me would not play on my computer for some reason. So frustrating!

Also - it just occurs to me you asked how to post to a community - first you Join by clicking the join link on the community's info page, then when you are on your normal Update Journal page, you can choose to post into 'vicam' or into 'community_name' - so just select the community you'd like to post to (and have already joined) from the menu! Hope that helps..

Hey Lex,

Thanks for replying :) That was sweet! I have actually figured out how to post to communities so thank you...right now I'm just waiting for a layout...I absolutely hate the way this one looks which is the primary reason I haven't been posting! There is someone from one of the RENT communities who is supposed to be making one for me so hopefully I'll hear from her soon.

Oops...one more thing...I think what I'm struggling with the most is I don't understand how to do "lj cuts" or link to other people's LJ names/journals. I know in my post there are links to people's names and sites but that's only because someone else supplied the HTML...if you have some time and want to explain that to me that'd be great!

Awesome first post.
Mister Larson has changed so many things.

Thanks Lex :) I do like it and appreciate you doing it for me! Whenever you get your own computer back up and running if you feel like it I wouldn't mind something with a bit more detail like some of the ones you have that have bars/writing something like that. But yeah I really like it :)
