Some of those hardware-store NO PARKING signs might clue people in that you're in fact living there now. Especially once you have tenants you want to set the tone. It's a little gray if they've observed some neighbors parking back there with impunity.

I don't understand the $30 vs. $250. Are you saying if you had called when the car was actually on your property it would have been a bigger ticket?

I'm excited for you ... you're not 100% there, but at least you're (physically) there! Heat would be nice, tho.

Hee! Thanks for excited, I totally still am. I'm looking forward to foomping on the couch when the place is all up and running though.

Yes, it's $30 for alley parking illegally, but $250 to park on someone's property without permission. So "You kids get off my lawn" is legitimate, enforceable, and $250 per violation!
