Upon their return to the HQ it seemed impossible for Alynna to avoid the reports that needed her attention or the meetings with her colleagues. It were moments like these when she envied Kate. The good doctor had been able to get off duty an hour after their return, keeping her promise to leave HQ right on time for Paris.

I loved this chapter and I was happy to see Gretchen give the admiral a kick in the butt for trying to leave before she saw Phoebe ;-)

I'm dying to know who was observing them with malicious intent and am looking forward to the next chapter!

Great update, I'm liking Admiral Henderson, he seems to have Alynna's back, I suspect she's going to need him to watch it. 'Smile to reach her eyes' glad the Admirals eyes are beginning to open. Bravo the Gretchen for kicking her butt. Who is observing from across the room? I hope somebody isn't plotting to get to the Admiral through Phoebe. I'd like to someone try as I'm sure she would take great exception to it. Looking forward to seeing what you are going to put our ladies through next.

thank you:) it´s a long way for the good admiral to trust and let feelings show, let alone admit them. but she keeps trying.
gretchen really is a dear and i love her no-nonsense attitude.
it would become nasty if somebody dares to use phoebe.
