I'm reasonably certain that there must be some obscure part of the Geneva Conventions that prohibits putting characters through this much angst. Then again, you write with such talent, that if there were a law, the powers that be would have to create an exception for this story.

Looking forward to next weekend's chapter with a finely balanced combination of dread and eager anticipation.

You're right.. Emily has redeemed herself, but Andy is such a twit.. This chapter was so sad. I do feel bad for Miranda who really is out of her depth with Andrea... she has no idea what to do and must feel quite impotent. Meanwhile Andy is so understandably afraid of getting hurt... Anyhow, this was a great chapter. As always, I am looking forward to the next :D

it was sad, i agree but this part of the story had to be told. miranda lost and andy hurting and pushing away what could be the best thing in her life.
emily is a great friend to both of them, she tries very hard.
