I applaud your actions. Don't blame you about the cops -- at least they weren't jerks when they showed up.

Wow, heavy. That is awesome of you to stand up to potential sexual violence towards people most likely unable to defend themselves. There needs to be more people like you in the world.

As someone who has been the victim of such, good for you for not ignoring it, as many people do. And not all cops are bad...I, in general, am not very trusting of them, but they have been cool to me several times when it was very needed.
