Meeting the big guy

And....I'm hired!!
The whole process of being "officially" hired was rather anti-climatic. My dad took me out to the Van Sickle Middle School, which coincidentally was just a block away from where I'll be living later. 2 days left...the suspense builds
Today is my last day of work. Nothing special is going on, at my old job we always had a little party, cake and a card. Nothing huge or extravagant, but it made you feel special. God, I sound like such a child. I've only been here since May, I shouldn't expect anything ( Read more... ) -
7 days and counting
In exactly one week I'll be flying out of here. I'm 75% done with what I need to accomplish. All I have left is clothes to box or pack, depending on when I'll need them. Monday I'm going to Walter's to get my winter clothes out of storage and put them in boxes, label and stick them in Dad's garage ( Read more... ) -

Holy Mother of all friggin weekends!!
So Friday night was the big "New Year" party for all the MWR (Morale Welfare and Recreation) employees. Anyone affilated with the support groups for the soldiers was invited. It was a blast, my friend got wicked drunk but we sang a kick ass rendition of Summer Nights which everyone enjoyed ( Read more... )
