The trip from Orono to Richmond was jolly. And cheap. It is sad that I am only just realizing, at the tender age of 19, how important and useful American dollars are. Were I to have more of these precious papers than life would be a lot more gratifying ( Read more... )

I have a knight in shining armor. He made the armor himself. And I love him -in part because he is a knight in shining armor when I am a damsel in distress.

At least Autumn is doing well. I had hoped to hear better of the folks down there. I'm sorry to hear that situations are quite so tense. I wish you well on the rest of your time down in Richmond. I am also sorry to hear that I will miss seeing you at my parents' house (as I am returning to Maine on Monday January 2). I would love to meet up with you sometime in Orono or Bangor, though.
