To be honest, I'm not really even looking at them. The only thing that sort of bothers me is when the bubble pops up on the comment page to tell me things I already know.. Then I just glare balefully at it and wish for its death.

It fails to comply.. it doesn't know how stubborn I am :D

You probably already figured this out, but the boxes have always been greyed out if you don't have the twitter or facebook connect thing enabled. The problem before was that when you tabbed once, it would highlight the link to 'Settings' right next to the box. They seem to have changed the code so that tabbing goes right to 'Post Comment' and avoids 'Settings'. Which is kind of a bizarre thing to do, but whatever, it's LJ.
