I DON'T KNOW BUT I THINK I'D BE OKAY WITH EITHER DISTANCE. Maybe Cas is next year's Big Bad. He's already kinda this year's Big Bad, but I've gotta wait until the finale to make that call.
It was really, really hard for me to get caught up - it felt like I was just trudging through. This episode may have made me like the rest of the season, though. It makes certain things make more SENSE now.
I found this book at one of the store closing sales for Borders: "Spilling the Beans on the Cat's Pajamas," and it's all about finding the root and history of popular expressions.
Side-note for "Pride goes before a fall:" "Pride goes before, and shame comes after" is another form of the proverb as it was used in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. It has also been said that "he who gets too big for his britches gets exposed in the end." XD

Oh clearly this is the most unquestionable predictor for next season. They know what we want to see. And hey, the proverb says they have to!

Oh I like the way you think.
