You seem also to be the only person on my friend's list who is not stranded in the snow somewhere.

You apeared in my dream this afternoon but it was rather a confusing dream and I'm not going to try to sort it out enough to explain your part in it. I was stranded somewhere and there was supposed to have been a blizzard but instead there was just a lot of wet brown grass. That was sort of what the world looked like around here until yesterday, but somehow I knew it was supposed to be snowy and since it wasn't I had to be dreaming. It was all rather odd, but it was nice to see you.

I have the urge to send you a single snowflake, not enough to strand you places, just enough to look at for a moment and feel it melting, but even if I could control the weather I wouldn't. There are a lot of people who would get mad at me for my choices. So my icy icon will have to do.

wow, shel. I hope you're okay. I haven't kept up with LJ recently, and I've been wondering how you are. I keep coming across old pictures of times at MHC, and it makes me really miss you.

and, I'd never heard the stars before. it's beautiful.
