I just want to draw little hearts around this story! Sick Sam and awesome Dean, caring and snarky and badass, And I used to get strep pretty often as a kid, so I can totally sympathise with Sam, This is lovely.

Aw, that was heartwarming. It's like a very late Christmas present. I love sick Sam and protective Dean, and Sam shooting Dean's own line back at him. (Or rather, whispering it hoarsely.)

I was so excited to see this! I go back and read your other fics all the time and a new one was like an early birthday present! Your Dean voice is always so much fun. I love how his snarkiness is interspersed with his great affection for the tiniest things Sam does. Of course sick!Sam and awesome-bamf!Dean are always a treat! Great job!

Ah, boys! I love that Dean knows Sam so well, knows what that look portends. And Sam--failing to take care of himself but finally giving in to letting Dean take care of him is lovely.

This is like perfect h/c, satisfyingly indulgent without being overdone or out of character. Badass with a marshmallow center is one of my favorite flavors of Dean.
