Here's the thing. If the hounds of "journalism" of today attacked the real issues of the day with the same intensity they go after Brittany, or Brangelina. They'd actually mean something again.

If they dug into the bullshit of our "ruling class" as much as the dig into the dregs of pop culture. We'd have some real fucking news up in this bitch.

Not going to happen. Whether or not Britney gets her kids back (and then what crazy adventures they all have together!) is far more important to the daily lives of Americans than who the fuck Mike Huckabee is and why he's doing strong numbers in Iowa. ("Iowa? Is that country or something?")
